Machine Learning Model
Trained three machine learning models—XGBoost, Random Forest, and Support Vector Machine (SVM)—on a dataset of 200,000 news headlines to categorize news topics. XGBoost achieved 30.20% accuracy, serving as a quick baseline model, while Random Forest significantly improved accuracy to around 71%, showing strength in ensemble learning for text data. SVM, the top performer, achieved 80.66% accuracy.
Quiz Platform
The Quiz Learning Platform, built using Laravel, offers interactive quizzes, secure user authentication, role-based access control, a responsive admin panel for content management, and dynamic leaderboards to enhance engagement, providing a user-friendly experience while leveraging Laravel’s robust framework for scalability, efficient database handling, and seamless integration of backend services and APIs..
